There is a tiny hole at the bottom of the cup — this is intentionally left during the production process to release internal pressure. It is sealed with a special adhesive to prevent water from entering. 

Please do not remove it, and rest assured it is not a defect.

Do not use in a microwave or dishwasher. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and corrosive cleaning agents.

Each glass is hand-shaped, so slight handmade marks or air bubbles are normal and part of its unique character.
